My 'Black Swan' Poster Designs

In my research I found that there are two types of posters that you can find as a form of promotion:
The traditional Style of poster has more on the poster; it contains more information, more images, more narrative, catch phrases from the film, etc. These poster are often published once the production company knows more about the release date of the film and it is utilised as a way of getting an audience to be attracted to the film and want to go buy a ticket to see it in the cinema.
This is my design for the 'Black Swan' traditional poster:

It is does not follow all the conventions of a traditional poster, however I still felt that I capture some essential elements. For example, this poster clearly displays the faces of three famous actors which will catch the attention of audiences and make them want to watch the film as they may like other films that they are in. It also displays some themes of the film as I have chosen an image of a ballerina dancing so the audience instantly are aware that it is a film about a ballet dancing and Swan Lake. Each character is also showing some emotion and I think it clearly conveys what this film entails. In addition, the contrast of the black and white also indicates the themes of purity and lust, good and evil, and life and death.

Below is my minimalist poster, which teases audiences about the film:
