Sound

When looking for the music that we wanted to cover the whole of our trailer, we firstly went on epidemicsounds.com. We knew this website was a copyright free, no cost, easy to use music website. We could also narrow down the music we were browsing for by using the filter options that would find music specifically for films, a sad atmosphere, a specific genre, etc. After some time browsing, we eventually found a piece that felt was appropriate for our trailer. We want something which created an eary atmosphere to show that this girl is heading towards a dangerous situation.
Although our trailer does not involve much artificial diegetic sounds, we were aware that another copyright free music website was available for us to use called BenSounds.com.

Although we did come up with an original script, in the end we did not use it that often because our actresses were talented and with knowledge of the context, they could often improvise. When editing we really liked these improvisations so we kept them in the final piece. Also, once we reviewed the typical conventions of many trailers, we realised that they do not have much dialogue.
